I guess you're remembering this confusing Dim, which (counterintuitively
for some people)causes both variables to refer to the same object.

  dim d1, d2 as new date //don't try this at home, kiddies
  d1.month = d1.month + 1
  MsgBox d1.SQLDate + EndOfLine + d2.SQLDate

But you can still do
  d2 = new Date
to make them refer to different objects again.
