Thanks for your message Dennis. I was beginning to suspect that it had 
something to do with RB's use of RAM too. Because usually when it crashes, 
there is 
something big going on - such as closing a window and re-writing a big listbox
. However, I have tried this on three different macs (G4 pb/1.4mz/1 g) (G5 
imac 2 ghz / 2 g ram) and (G5 dual 1.8/ 4 gb ram). And even on a fresh start 
for 
RB I get the same crash in the same place (always... but not if I step 
through).

One problem with your suggestion for checking apple's crash log, is when you 
say yes to reporting it, the window stays open about 5 seconds then 
disappears, so its quite hard to capture that info.

I am surprised more people are not experiencing this - since I have had 
nothing but problems with the compilers for a year now.
