When I read my klicense, it says "BROKER" across it. But, I have a few months before I can go it alone (if I want to). My business card says "Broker Associate" on it for that reason. I cannot legally act as a broker, UNTIL I have put in 2 years as a Broker Assocaite (Agent). Looking this up in the niversal part of my real estate manuals I find this same type of language. It also resurfaces in the Colorado state manuals. I wonder why Broker is printed on my license and not agent?
