From: Eran Malloch <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: HELP with creating Real content on CD under Win 3.1 Hi folks I have a need to embed some audio and video files within webpages stored on a CD (rather than live on the net). The key is that this has to be cross-platform capable from a 486 running Win 3.1 right thru to a top-end P3 under Win 95/98/NT (WinTel platform ONLY), and Netscape & IE 3.0 and above. The reason I have chosen Real is compression of the files. While it would obviously be MUCH easier to use std. AVI & WAV files, they take up too much space, hence the desire to come up for an alternative format that also offers compression, etc... I can't seem to find ANY info on Real's site to guide me thru this process. In particular, I believe the latest Real Player G2 is only supported on Win 95/98/NT and a Pentium or above system? Also, I think Real Producer G2 files are not backwards compatible with the older Players (v5, etc... which APPARENTLY supports older, 486+ PC systems running 16-bit Win), etc... ANY advise on what to do, and how best to make it all work would be MUCH appreciated pls. best regards Eran Malloch [EMAIL PROTECTED]
