Auto-installation would make a huge difference. I get a dozen or more emails
a week from people who don't want or don't know how to install the Real
Player.

The problem is actually getting worse as more and more people come on line
expecting the Internet to work like a consumer device - ie flick a switch
and it happens.

When BBC Radio 5 Live first started webcasting two years ago, almost all our
audience had the technical knowledge to install (and debug the installation)
of the Real Player. Now, most of our audience don't have the patience or
knowledge to install it themselves and then blame us for any problems.

Auto-installation would be a god-send.
