Subject: Flash, RealVideo, Smile integration

Hi.
I'm new to this list, so i'm not sure what, if anything, is being
discussed. I'm trying to develop a multimedia-like experience using
RealVideo and Flash tied together with SMIL and integrated into a browser.
I've been reading docs on Real.com for a couple days now and I feel like
there is a lack of info is a couple areas.

- Does RealVideo support any kind of meta info that can fire off URLs or
trigger SMIL based on timecode (kind of like QuickTime's HREFTrack)? I can
get flash controlling the video (jumping around and loading new movies) but
the other way seems undocumented or not possible.

- Is it possible to load a SMIL file into itself - like nested frames? I
guess I'll try it myself, but I just thought of it.

- Has imbeding Real into a browser window become more stable? My experiments
in the past couple years resulted in inconsistent problems. I need to be
stable in 4.0 browsers on PC only.

That's all for now. I'm sure as soon as I find out more about this I'll
have another pile of questions/discoveries.

Thanks is advance,
[ammon]
