Subject: RealPlayer and RealSlideShow

I have RealSideshow and RealPlayer Plus and I am attempting to create a =
50 slide presentation. II generated and published the slideshow to my =
local ISP (Mindspring).
When I play it back when everything is on my hard drive ... no problems. =
However, when I attempt to play it back on the internet, the title =
screen and first segment of background music is played and then we sit =
and wait..... during all this sitting and waiting, I notice that =
something is repeatedly being written to my hard drive. After a very =
long time, the first slide is shown and then things proceed normally.

In the SIML code, the title and the 50 slides are set up as a sequence.

I broke the 50 slides into 10 groups and added these 5 groups as =
individual items in the sequence. Now when I play them back on the =
net, I still have a very lengthy delay with all the writing to my hard =
drive, but I think the wait is shorter. Anyway I got frustrated and =
started playing with the slider. When I did so, I was able to start =
seeing the slides even though the disk writing operation continued.

Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong.

Thanks,

John McKay
