Subject: Video encoding quality
How does Media Cleaner Pro (or Real Producer) transcoding from an avi or
quicktime file compare to capturing through an Osprey board? Are there
boards available for higher quality capture, using, for example, digital
video in (SDI) or analog component in?
I am recording in DVC Pro 25 and could use a Digisuite DTV (via SDI in)
for editing and then conversion to Real Media. Will my results be
noticeably better going this route as opposed to playing through a Y/C
input on an Osprey card?
