I don't believe they are the same status, as Cable Beach is a kind of
grid configuration that doesn't use the stock server shipped with
OpenSim -- instead it has it's own. For example we use OpenID on Taiga
instead of User server, and WebDAV for inventory instead of SL
inventory.

That said, Cable Beach has SL/OpenSim user and inventory
implementations, as it's used as-is on ScienceSim.

If you want to mix OpenSim and ModreX, you should not use Taiga, as
it's explicitly not an SL-heritage configuration.
