When you want to code we recoment to start by learning how to build. After that you can choose. The last commit from pats shows how to change c-arrays into stl structures. We have some patches from LO that needs to be integrated. You could also help with the programm documentation, but I am not sure what the best move is in this respect. Since there is a lot of developer docs available, but it is not very accessible.
