I for one am not "starving", I drive my vette to work everyday.. :)
But I think something like a bounty system might serve our user base more
expeditiously. This type of system appears to work well for Shuttleworth and
Neuros. What do you "the user base" think?

Heh,

Well said Nathan.

Was trying to get input to this question previously asked.

When the time comes then, I am ready to do what

what everyone agrees to.

And again, thanks for every one's participation, especially the guys

optimizing the code.

I appreciate the swift response when problems are identified.

Regards,

Lenny

Morning,

My view of this conversation, while well intentioned, feels misguided.

We have plenty of choices and opportunities to not only make money, but a
variety of things and places to spend it. There isn't a shortage of that.

However, this project represents the efforts of people doing something
because they really WANT to do it - not because they HAVE to do it. That
isn't something that we have the opportunity to appreciate, much less
enjoy participating in, very often. It's unique, fresh, and visionary -
in the sense that it is NOT something that anyone is compelled to or
expected to contribute to if they're not comfortable or able to do so.

In short, when the time comes that the project needs certain resources to
continue, then I think they will be forthcoming - but let us not try to
create solutions for problems that don't exist yet, and hopefully won't.

I'm extremely grateful for this whole Red5 experince - it's been very
educational and enlightening for me personally - it's quite exciting
working with these things, being creative, and doing something novel with
lots of other like minded people. A big THANK YOU to everyone!

=)
