Greetings, We're wondering what policy or standards other universities have with their departments regarding the use of custom filenames in RedDot. Right now we use page IDs to ensure uniqueness (and prevent overwriting). Our thought is to have a recommendation that custom filenames should only be used for important possible entry pages, pages that are advertised/promoted or those particularly important for search engines. What do you all recommend? Is everyone else using page IDs as well?
Thanks! [http://www.longwood.edu/news/images/davehooper.gif] David V.
