I'm desperately looking for a .spec file (and possibly a set of
patches) that will allow me to rebuild the mod_php-3 package (from
rh61) to get it to use mysql rather than postgresql.

The docs for doing this at www.php.org are now out of date (it applies
to the php3 package from rh60), and the .spec file (and apparently the
sources) has postgres very heavily embedded in it as the assumed
database server. <yeech>

Can anyone help? (It would save *hours* of headaches and pain for
me).

Or is my best course of action to use the .spec file and sources from
the rh60 distibution?

[...grumble that I have to worry about doing this at all...]

Eternal blessings and thanks for any kind soul who can help me out
here.

Cheers
Tony
