Thanks for the infos,

assume that I disabled knfsd and installed the nfsserver-2.2beta40-1 rpm
(rebuilt for glibc 2.1) ,

will the redhat 6.1 distro continue to work as NFS automagically do do I need
to tweak some system files to achieve this.
