I would strongly suggest that you get the source and compile it yourself.
It's not as scary as you think. Linuxdoc (www.linuxdoc.org) has a kernel
howto. RPM's are generally pre-compiled with patches and stuff that can make
it a bit ugly. Example: Mandrake kernel RPM's are fine if you have a
pentium, but on a 386, you'll be lucky if it runs at all!
