I tried to update the installation packages for Red Hat 7.0. Most of it
works fine - eg. removing old packages and including those from the
updates.
However, I just wanted to do the same for ghostscript - replace 5.50 with
6.01. I copied the RPMs to the appropriate direcory, run genhdlist and
installed a new computer. However, anaconda crashes and produces a
traceback stating that it cannot find ghostscript.
I moved the original files back to the installation directory (I do use NFS
installation), leaving the 6.01 still there and run genhdlist again.
Now anaconda works again (and installs the 5.50 version of ghostscript.

2 questions:

- - what did I do wrong? Any ideas?

- - When I do have both ghostscript-5.50 and ghostscript-6.01, how does
anaconda decide which version to use?

Thanks,

Michael
