Hello,

Anyone knows if python-2.2 will be in the upcoming 7.2 release? Currently the
rawhide-20011003 status is a mess due to mixtures of older and newer packages
who does/does not build from source with python-2.2 (0.4a4) installed.
Will a python1.5 be provided?

Also, more package builds are broken with the distribution of
automake-1.5-1 and autoconf-2.52-3 in rawhide. Is the 7.2 release
built with these newer versions or older ones?

I'm wondering if patching packages from the current rawhide to build
with python-2.2, autoconf-2.53, automake-1.5 is worth the effort,
especially if the 7.2-release has backed from using the newer
packages. What about future rawhide releases?

Recently, response from RH is scarce from sending in patches/
reporting bugs. Maybe this due to the upcoming release. If this its the
case it would be good to know what will come.

The RHL distributions are getting better and better. Looking forward to
7.2 (and the next rawhide) Thanks RH.

Svante
