Here is the problem: [root@QBSCOM250 init.d]# java /usr/java/jdk1.3.1_02/bin/i386/native_threads/java: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [root@QBSCOM250 init.d]# rpm -qa libstdc* libstdc++-2.96-98 libstdc++-devel-2.96-98 Red hat 7.2 was installed almost default server installation ( a couple package additions: zip, unzip ) Java 1.3.1_02 was installed from the binary available from java.sun.com What is my problem here? And what is my solution? Thanks.
