Hi!

I don't know if this can help.

You may have set the LD_PRELOAD variable. I had some problem with the virtual 
machine with LD_PRELOAD set (the compiler works without errors).

Try to disable it, you can do in a script such as that:

__________________
#!/bin/sh
# java wrapper
unset LD_PRELOAD
java $@
__________________

Maybe someone else in the list can give a better solution.
