After booting you can type 'dmesg' (without the quotes), as root. This
will show you all the messages at start up. Although sometimes I find
that 'dmesg' will not show errors during boot up, just the general
stuff. Sorry, I cannot help with the error but if you can show other
readers in the group more info they will probably suggest some ideas :)
