I downloaded the mount 2.71 RPM from RH's ftp site to upgrade the mount that is
included with RH5 CD. I did this because I've been getting NFS warnings about
my mount version being older than my kernel version (2.1.97). I rebooted the
system and I get a bunch of errors from mount saying that it can't find
libc.5.so. Bottom line: I can't mount any disks and the boot hangs up.

HELP!!! How do I recover from this? I have my RH5 boot disks and tried
booting into rescue mode but I could not figure out how to replace my bad with
the good mount from the boot disk or my CD. Surely there must be a way for me
to uninstall the new mount rpm and replace it with the rpm from the CD?
PLEASE?

Thanx!
