Boot with the RedHat boot floppy, put in the CD, say you're installing and
follow the steps right up to fdisk. With fdisk remove the Linux partitions
and sync the changes with the 'w' command. At this stage, reboot with your
DOS/Win stuff and you'll have a clear disk. Using a DOS disk, also do
fdisk /mbr to remove leftovers from the master boot record.

BTW, I use this to remove NTFS partitions too. Works a treat. This even
gets rid of stuff you can't remove with native NT (I've discovered that
reformatting NT with NT doesn't really remove all the old stuff). Even
gave an old copy of RH to our repair guy who uses it to remove things like
FAT32 when customers want their disks partitioned differently than the
manufacturer did. He loves using RH to blow away the partitions that DOS
fdisk can't recognize.
