Hmm.  I can't use my local very fast mirror for an upgrade because after
the first file is downloaded I get a message that says 'problem setting
server to passv mode' (or something like that) and the setup stops right
there.  A more distant, slow one doesn't seem to have this problem.

Is there anything I can do at my end similar to the above advice, that
would enable me to use the local mirror, or do I have to ask them to
change something (unlikely).
