You would need the fat32 patch if you ran Win95b (OSR2+) and had fat32
partitions, if you only had vfat (16-bit) partitions, you'd just use the
vfat option with mount. If you'd like to learn more, look up fat32+vfat on
your favorite search engine, because this is getting slightly offtopic.
