Upgrading to redhat 5.0 is much more than installing a new kernel. 5.0
installs s new kernel but it also installs new libraries glibc most
notably new apps and upgrades existing apps. I would suggest either buying
a cd from redhat or someone like www.lsl.com. The cd will have all the
rpm's and the installation/upgrade program plus documentation. You could
also download off the net. But if you have anything less than 128k
downstream I would not suggest it.
