In short, yes, it should all work. I put Linux on an old '386sx with 16
megs of ram and a 200 meg drive. It worked...well sorta...if you could
stand the speed (which I couldn't).

>486SX/25 (I know it sucks, but I have it lying around in my house)

Sucks less than my '386sx16 board....egads...that was painful. Sensing
a thread? :)

>8MB RAM ('Cuz 16 would cost to much :o)

You will *REALLY* want to put at least 16 in the box. Memory is pretty
damn cheap (I've seen it on sale at Best Buy for bout $30 for 16 megs (72
pin). Look around...hell scavenge it if you have to. You won't be sorry.
BUT, if your never going to run X with this system, then maybe you can get
away with only eight. Our internal web-server at work runs on eight megs of
ram....doesn't do much else though. Running RH 5.0

>Tseng ET4000 Video Card ('cuz I have one)

    Yup...should work fine.

With eight megs of ram you'll be hitting the swap quite a bit. You
might want to make this bigger if you can.

    Just my 2 cents....
