Excuse me for my bad english, but please help me!!!
I'm trying to install my zipplus.
I'm using Redhat 4.2 kernel 2.0.33. My zipplus is connected to my parallel
port (EPP) at address 378H
With "make menuconfig" I installed the SCSI support with a *, after that I
went to the "low level SCSI drivers?" and installed the parallel zip drive
also a *.
After that I did "make dep", then "make clean" then "make install". after
that I rebooted my computer.
With my new kernel I got the following error: "PPA: unable to initialise
controller at 0x378 error 2", I it didn't work. Where did I go wrong??
Can somebody tell me how the Zipplus-drive connected to tehe parallel port
has to be installed? I couldn't find it anywhere.
