RE: Printing a simple TeX file

Did I make a mistake installing Redhat 7.3? While TeX and other TeX utilities are in my /usr/bin directory, dvips is not. Where did I go wrong?

do man dvips

if your default printer is setup
then just dvips xxx.dvi should do it

you can put it to a postscript file
dvips -o xxx.ps xxx.dvi

and specify printer
dvips -P printername xxx.dvi
