I realize that Mozilla is trying to avoid bloat, but requiring a separate compile/install is a bit of a joke. This will need to possibly be addressed by the distro itself. Installing RH8 from scratch and having to go to sun.com to get jre and them installing that is no way to target new users. I did this and still can't run some applets without Mozilla closing.
