can anyone give me some insight as to what is causing my problem:
[root@batman quake]# ./quake2
couldn't exec default.cfg
couldn't exec config.cfg
Console initialized.

sound sampling rate: 10869
------------------------------------
------- Loading ref_soft.so -------
Error: Couldn't load pics/colormap.pcx
recursive shutdown
i have no clue as to how i can fix this. any help would be appreciated.
