I have RH 7.3 running on my Toshiba Libretto (P166MMX, 64MB) as well as on a HP "all-on-board" machine (P233MMX, 48MB). Both work amazingly well, even with X (the Toshiba even plays mp3's and ogg's using xmms). You definitely shouldn't run bloated desktop environments like GNOME or KDE on such a machine, of course, and having a look at running Opera instead of Mozilla might be an idea as well. OpenOffice is possible but takes some patience, as swapping can't be avoided with so little memory.
