Hi:

Has anyone successfully installed the glibc 2.0.x library on a Red Hat 4.2
system. I don't want to upgrade to 5.0 right now, but I need to use glibc
for some development along with libc 5 (for separate development).
I've got the glibc-2.0.7 source RPM and I'm ready to build and install it.
However, I want to make sure that I am doing it right so that my system
remains functional. What would be the best way to do this, as I really
don't care to upgrade (and downgrade some software) my whole system in
order to use a library.

Any suggestions?
