no.  install rh9, then, at rhn.redhat.com, delete your old machine, then
run rhn_register.

delete machine as above is all i ever do at rhn.redhat.com.
the entire value of rhn is available by a daily cron job:

   up2date --nox -p
   up2date --nox -u
