I have an SMP machine and appropriately have the "smp" kernel. There is a new patched
kernel available,
When I ran up2date, it installed 3 kernel's:
  a smp kernel
  a non-smp kernel and
  a BOOT kernel

What the heck is a BOOT kernel, and should it be my default?

Any help appreciated.
