Ed, I've attached my version of /etc/X11/XF86Config for you to look at. For some reason I thought it would be XF86Config-4 but that doesn't exist on this box (a RH 9)??? In any case, I just installed the Nvidia drivers tonight on this one and it worked perfectly. Gerry
