That's exactly what I get when my daughter tries to send a message to hotmail from my server with a hotmail return address. They accept the message and then dump it. I believe the only way around this is to have your mail server authenticate with the hotmail server. You might be able to use sendmail's access database for this. I do this for some server I send to.
