I'm having problems using the Linux installation for networking for my
PC. The network card is 3com509. I know for a fact that the network card
and cable work o.k. , however i'm unable either from the installation
process or
manually to configure the routing table so that the gateway is
recognised.
Ifconfig works fine - however adding a gateway using route doesnt. Any
ideas?
