I have an RH9 server sitting here (how convenient!) that I just got Cheops-ng working on. Initially, the rpm wouldn't install due to Imlib dependencies that couldn't necessarily be fulfilled, but I did the nasty and did a forced installation of the older version of Imlib and then Cheops-ng; it works. So, NOT THAT Y'ALL SHOULD DO IT - but it does work here (and maps out just like you'd expect it to) you'd need to install from a console and do it with the "rpm --ivh --force --nodeps nameofthefile.rpm" - I also made sure I ran /sbin/ldconfig just to be nice to the lib path cache... But it's working now...I'm rather used to having it working under Mandrake (which is a higher kernel version - go figure) so since this is a customer's boxen, I would need to have it there as well - and I wouldn't have if y'all wouldn't have posted this thread in the first place... So if no one else gets any satisfaction out of this, at least I did!
