Since "I have a website" is no longer true; i.e. the website now belongs to someone else, the only thing you can do to offer yourself any assurance that there isn't other "new features" on your computer is to format and re-install the thing making sure it has all the appropriate updates before it ever sees the Internet side a firewall.
