I don't know about plugins for Netscape, but I just installed
MozillaFirebird and it ask if I wanted xpdf to open the pdf
file to view with out setting up anything. It also blocked
pop ups and comes with a windows and linux version and has
an easy place to clear cookies, etc in the options. I've only
been playing with it for a few days but it looks pretty good.
