Once you get it running, try this little test. Open a pdf document and do a
Find for text that is not in the document. The search will, of course, fail.
Answer OK to the popup about the failure. If your system is the same as mine,
Adobe will either exit/abend or hang ...

I have posted questions on the Adobe forums, but am not sure how often Adobe
folks look at the forums. I have tested this on 5.0.6/7/8 and they all do the
same. Other folks have reported the same error.
