Ugh, this is really discouraging. Unplugging doesn't work. What's
interesting is that if I do unplug the Zip and Jaz and terminate the chain
off the scanner everything goes smoothly until that "Scanning hard drives"
step. Once again a "signal 11" and abort.
My last and only hope is to try opening the box and terminating off one of
the SCSI CD-ROM drives.
Boy, and I was really looking forward to running Linux on this machine!
