Hi all,
I ask a while ago how to get x to stop looking
for sound as I do not have a sound card and
it was filling up my messages log. I didn't get
a response so I thought I would post the answer.
I use XFCE and it has an option under setup/startup
to turn off sound module. Now I have no more errors in
the log and x loads faster too. Oh I might as well make
a plug xfce is a great desktop if you not 100 percent
happy with what you have give it a try.
