linux and integrated video and sound

Hi everyone,

Does any one know whether linux is 'motherboard integrated  graphics and

sound' friendly?

Some fairly decent brand name computer such as HP Pavilions seem to have

this.

Are these 'standards' friendly or hostile to linux?

the exacyt type seems to be  intel 3d sound and intel direct AGP 3D
