ipchains isn't the correct tool for the job, but Linux has the
capability that you need. 

Check the Bridge Mini-HOWTO or the Bridge+Firewall Mini-HOWTO.  You can
find them at http://www.linuxpowered.com under Tutorials or on sunsite
(somewhere).  The docs are a bit dated.  You shouldn't have to remove
the IP's from your cards, or muck with lilo, or recompile your kernel,
or even reboot.  AFAIK, the necessary configurations are in the kernel
you got with your Red Hat installation.

You do, however, need the BRCFG (bridge config) utility referenced in
the Bridge HOWTO.  I'm unable to download it at the moment.  The host
it's supposed to be on didn't resolve.  Try it later.

This could be another eql.  I searched for eql for quite some time, as
it's not available where it's documentation says it is.  When I DID find
it, it wouldn't compile.  I made a minor patch, changed some gcc
options, and built an rpm.  I hope this is easier  :)  If you have
trouble finding or building the software, let me know, and I'll try to
help you out.
