With the help of Bernhard Rosenkraenzer, the partition has been restored
on the drive that got screwed up.

We were always able to see the first partition's file system, it was the
2nd one that eluded us. Then a light bulb turn on over Bernhard after I found
that the 2nd filesystem was not starting on a cylinder boundary.

It turns out that fdisk will not round to a cylinder boundary is a size
is given, i.e., instead of using cylinders. It ended up where it ended up.
Once the correct end location was determined for the 1st file system, it
was easy to determine the start of the 2nd filesystem.

A hearty thank you to Red Hat's Bernhard Rosenkraenzer.
