Depends on your mail reader software. Many (such as mutt) allow you to
specify a command with which to generate to sig. So in that case, you
would do
set signature="|uptime"
For other mailers, the means are different, but the ends are the same.
Also, if you use a brain-dead mailer, generate your 'sig using a
script, or cron job instead.
