The best idea would probably be to have a look at the Printer-HOWTO.
As was mentioned in another mail, you're looking at an HP520. I have the
HP550 running under RHL 5.2 - as the 550 and 520 should be rather
similar (the 550 is the predecessor to the colour version of the 520 if
I remember correctly), my setup might work for you:

and if it doesn't work it might be a usable starting point.

Have you tried XF86Setup? That might do the trick. I tries itself to run
in a basic VGA mode, so if it starts you should definitely be able to
use it to set up such a server.
