HHmm.

I just had a look at my /etc/hosts.allow and I have the following which may
be useful:

For every machine on my local sub-net that I want to be able to telnet to my
Linux box I have:

telnet:    xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

where, obviously, the x's represent the ip address of the client wanting to
telnet in.

Don't know whether it's necessary, but I'm sure I put them in for a reason a
year ago.
