It looks as though the DNS files are not set up correctly.  Try running
nslookup on the actual server itself to be sure.  If you get the same
response "Default servers not availiable"  Then you will need to post your
DNS files, and perhaps a little bit of /var/log/messages so we can help you
a bit more.  Everything else seems fine, as far as I can tell.
